Eastman Regional Skating Competition

Hosted by the Lorette FSC at the Iles des Chenes arena Sunday, January 15.

First event is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to wrap up by 3:30

PROGRAMS OFFERED

All programs are sanctioned by Skate Canada and are delivered by professional coaches certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)

All regular session programs are offered from October through March. A Spring Skate session is scheduled to be run in Iles des Chenes.

CANSKATE & PRE-POWER SKATE. Teaches fundamental movements and basic skills. 45 minute sessions, Monday evenings in Iles des Chenes, Wednesday evenings in Lorette.

PLEASE NOTE THAT HELMET USE IS MANDATORY INCLUSIVE OF LEVEL 5.

Properly fitted hockey helmets are preferred.
Skate Canada policy is clear that any skater not equipped with such a helmet will not be allowed onto the ice.

POWER SKATE. Aimed at hockey and ringette players. Focusing on balance, power, agility, speed, and endurance.

JR. STARSKATE & STARSKATE. Aimed at developing Figure Skating skills in dance, skills, free skate, and interpretive skating.
